 
De Sol A Sol is a multimedia production company. We focus on the area of health promotion through education and information. Our company produces and distributes the radio program Public Health Updates. De Sol A Sol operates from a disabled persons perspective in carrying out its mission. Our Mission: - To provide support and education to communities utilizing the concepts of recovery, empowerment, and hope.
- To provide a statewide system of prevention, health promotion, education, community health improvement, and other public health services for the people of New Mexico.
- To promote opportunities for people with disabilities to become more independent and productive through lifestyle change and health management.

De Sol A Sol proudly produces Public Health Updates, radio programs that air for three minutes, five days a week that promote the mission of the three sponsoring New Mexico Departments. The radio content is presented in a standardized format. It begins with the articulation of the health issue and health problem, and information on incidence and prevalance. The impact of the health problem and issue are described in terms of both personal and social consequences. Finally resources are identified so that the listener knows what kind of information, services and supports are available. |
